Olympic Medalist Kim Glass Claims She Was Assaulted With Metal Pipe In Downtown LA

Olympic medalist Kim Glass said she was assaulted by a gentleman wielding an item that appeared like a metallic pipe in downtown Los Angeles, fracturing her eye socket.

Glass, a silver medalist on Crew USA’s 2008 Olympic volleyball squad, described the unprovoked assault in an Instagram story on Sunday, exhibiting her with her right eye swollen shut, stitches below the eyebrow and a gouge throughout her nose.

Glass claimed she was leaving a cafe immediately after lunching with a good friend on Friday when “this homeless gentleman ran up.”

“He experienced a thing in his hand … and he just like looked at me with some really hateful eyes,” she said. “And as I turned to go notify my pal ‘I believe something’s like completely wrong with him, and I think he’s likely to hit your car or truck,’ just before I knew it, a large metallic bolt, like a pipe, hit me.”

“It happened so quick, he basically flung it from the street, so he was not even shut to me at all.”

Glass said passersby subdued the gentleman and held him right until police officers arrived. Law enforcement arrested 50-year-outdated Semeon Tesfamarian. An LAPD spokesperson advised the Los Angeles Periods investigators couldn’t validate irrespective of whether he was homeless.
