MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan Trashes Tucker Carlson For Lying And Then Lying About Lying

MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan was not thrilled with media critic Ben Smith’s interview with Fox Information host Tucker Carlson.

Hasan claimed on Sunday evening there is no level in interviewing a “bad-faith actor” as “it doesn’t achieve anything other than give them one more platform from which to spout their bile and normalize their awfulness.” Smith, co-founder of the new electronic outlet Semafor, interviewed Carlson by means of remote connection to a media convention past week.

Hasan observed some of Smith’s missed options to maintain Carlson to account, pointing out how the Fox News host has captivated support from white supremacists with his extremist sights.

And he commented that Carlson had the “audacity and shamelessness” to assert he’s by no means lied on his display.

Carlson ― who has in the earlier admitted to lying ― asked Smith to find an case in point of him lying.
