“We won’t give crew orders, the only sign we give to our riders is to stay clear of generating severe moves on each individual other.

“We continue to bear in mind the practical experience of [Andrea] Dovizioso and [Andrea] Iannone in Argentina numerous several years back [when the pair collided on the final lap while running in podium places], and we would like to stay clear of a similar predicament.

“But this is the only point we convey to our riders, [which] is to regard the riders in the same brand a minimal bit much more, do not attempt extreme manoeuvres if possible.

“But for the relaxation, they are free to do what they want and if they can get a race, they must earn a race.”
